Today, NAFA opened its 2019 June mink auction with the sale of top quality Black male mink, including one of the best ever collections of the world-renowned Blackglama label mink. This helped to draw the largest crowd of international buyers into a packed auction room that has been seen so far at any major sale this year.

Throughout the day, Black mink sold under competition to all major markets with Greece and China leading in the sale of Black males while, as expected, Korea dominated the sale of Black females, Black males sold 76% while the females sold 86% as NAFA fought hard to maintain February levels.

Special moments in today’s sale included guest auctioneers, Herman Jansen and Michael Mengar, who came to the stand to sell the prestigious Black male and female Top Lot offerings. The illustrious careers and legacy of both these industry leaders was later feted at a reception held at the close of today’s sale.

The Top Lot of Marble Mink — Female was purchased by DUETFUR, of Crimea. Produced by Unicorn USA for $220.00.
